WELCOME TO OUR SCHOOL
On behalf of the staff, governors and myself, welcome to All Saints, Featherstone, C of E (A) Junior, Infant & Nursery School.
In our school, we aim to provide an environment where Christian beliefs and practices are fostered. We endeavour to provide the best education - delivering a broad and balanced curriculum for all children. We are constantly reviewing and evaluating what we do to raise standards of achievement for all. Yours sincerely Mrs J M Preston Headteacher Our school is a Church of England Voluntary Aided School, situated in North Featherstone near Pontefract. It is a small school catering for approximately 200, 3 – 11 year olds. The main school building currently has 6 classes and a purpose built ICT suite. The nursery is a separate building and stands in half an acre of land. The school is set in very attractive grounds with a large playing field surrounded by trees and shrubbery. Both the nursery and reception class have their own enclosed area with play equipment. We are extremely proud of all that goes on here at All Saint’s the children are supported in their learning by dedicated staff, governors and parents as you will see from this website.
